- Free parking is available at the valley station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn for buses and cars of guests using the Ehrwalder Almbahn.
- Overnight parking is not generally available unless you are staying in a hut, in which case you must leave your car registration number, name, address and telephone number at the valley station office.
- There are 2 campsites in Ehrwald for caravans and mobile homes.
- Charging point for electric vehicels (chargeable).
With the train to Ehrwald
There are regular train connections, with connections to long-distance trains, from Reutte or Garmisch-Partenkirchen to Ehrwald. A bus to the Tyrolean Zugspitze Railway and the Ehrwald Alm Railway runs during the summer and winter seasons, Ehrwald Railway Station – Zugspitze Railway.
There are flights from different Europen airports to Innsbruck. Please note. The timetables in winter and summer can be varying.
