The employees of the Ehrwalder Alm cable car do their best to guarantee a completey safe skiing environment for all guests. This includes daily preparation of the slopes and constant monitoring of the ski slopes by our mobile ski patrols. We also carry out regular inspections on all the skilifts and ongoing training with our staff.
Our guests can also play a major part in ensuring a safe and therefore enjoyable ski day!
For safety reasons any instructions given by the lift personnel must be closely adhered to.
To ensure you and other guests are not endangered you shouldnot ski on any closed slopes or in unmarked areas. Violation of theses rules canresult in you being refused the right to travel on the lifts. Your ski Pass will thenbe withdrawn with out right to compensation.
To avoid accidents we request thatyou adhere to the international FIS code of conduct.
Please note the times of the end of day inspection runs on the various slopes. In the event of an accident you can ask for assistence at any of the lift stations. A possible runway rescue is not included in the ticket price and is charged separately.
Only ski on designated and secure slopes and always observe the safety regulations. Our ski slopes are categorised into three grades, according to the level of difficulty. Skiers and snowboarders can therefore make an informed decision as to the difficulty of the slope prior to starting a run down. All slopes have border markings.
Panoramic maps at the valley and mountain stations aid orientation and help in the choice of ski runs. Do not leave the marked slopes and please note the lift operating hours. Outside of operating hours snow grooming machines are in operation to prepare the slopes. Skiing down the slopes at these times is very dangerous.
During our operating hours rescue services on the slopes are carried out by trained employees of the Ehrwald Alm cable car or by the local Mountain Rescue Service. All lift stations of the Ehrwalder Alm Cable Car are accident reporting points and the contact telephone number is: +43(0)5673-2468-621. The ski patrols only keep marked and open slopes under surveillance.
